Q1: Will this duct tape leave sticky glue residue when removed?
A: On smooth metals, glass, or plastic, it removes cleanly within 7-10 days under ambient room temps. However, if left exposed to direct sunlight for weeks, synthetic rubber will bake onto the surface. For long-term zero-residue needs, ask about our special PE-clean-peel masking grade.
Q2: Can I get 50mm x 50m rolls in custom colors like Olive Green or Bright Orange?
A: Yeah! Silver and Black are stock items (MOQ 2,000 rolls). Custom colors like Red, Blue, Yellow, Olive, or Orange require a minimum run of 3,000 rolls per color.
Q3: Is this tape suitable for permanent outdoor exposure?
A: For outdoor temporary sealing (up to 30-45 days), it works fine. But PE film eventually breaks down under intense UV after 2-3 months. If you need permanent outdoor UV resistance, we recommend our pure aluminum foil tape or butyl flashing tape instead.
Q4: What is the shelf life of the rolls if stored in a warehouse?
A: Stored in original shrink wrap at 15°C–25°C and 50% humidity, shelf life is 18 months. Avoid storing directly on cold concrete floors or under direct corrugated iron roofs in summer where temperatures exceed 45°C.
Q5: Can you print our brand logo on the tape?
A: Yes, from 5K rolls minimum. 1-3 colors, your artwork needs to be vector format (AI/PDF). Setup fee around $120 depending on colors. Lead time adds 1 weeks.
Q6: How do you handle shipping to European or North American ports?
A: We usually ship FOB Ningbo. If you don’t have a freight broker, we can arrange CIF/DDP quotes with our shipping partners.
Q7: Can we request sample rolls before committing to a full container?
A: Sure thing! We send 2-3 rolls via FedEx for about $45 shipping. Free tape, you cover freight. If you need like 20 rolls to test on an actual packing line, that’s $120 + shipping, but we credit it back if you order within 6 months.
